Yoga Poses
Background – The Misquito was discovered while YogaDawg was living in the swamps of Florida. The mosquitoes almost drove Guru YogaDawg mad just before he developed this pose and became enlightened. Pose - Bend your knees while keeping your back straight. Hold your arms straight out in front of you. Try to relax into this. When the teacher shouts, "Holy shit, mosquitoes," start slapping your feet and legs, face and hands, and any other body part you can reach while vigorously stamping your feet. Repeat the mantra "Damn mosquitoes" at the top of your lungs. To do the advanced version of this pose, add a jig or a polka as you run around the studio. Don't forget to breathe. Benefits - Besides being aerobically beneficial, practitioners of this pose report an increased kill ratio of mosquitoes, nats, and no-see-ums when off the mat.
